This tall semi-dwarf variety has some of the best drought tolerance of all the varieties and does very well in far western Kansas, Eastern Colorado, and the Panhandles of Oklahoma and Texas. It has a heavy test weight potential and little shatter.
While being more susceptible to most common diseases and pests than other wheat varieties, its heavy test weight, good milling and baking qualities and drought tolerance still make this wheat one to consider.
