Grown mainly in Kansas, eastern Colorado and southern Nebraska, this semi-dwarf wheat has consistently shown itself to have high yields and excellent test weights.
Postrock has an excellent disease package and is able to withstand stem, leaf and stripe rusts. It has an excellent tolerance of soil bourne mosaic but is susceptible to Hessian Fly and Powdery Mildew. With excellent stand-ability and straw strength, this wheat is a favorite of those who irrigate. Able to yield well under stress, Postrock shows excellent yields when conditions are good.
