Combines are used to separate seed from the mature dried plant.
Combine with bin full of seed waiting to unload.
Unloading seed onto semi-truck to be transported to seed plant.
Seed bins are grouped close to the seed conditioning plant
Loaded trucks are weighed on scale to accurately log each variety in each bin.
Seed is moved by belt conveyer to avoid damage.
Seed is moved from each bin to the seed leg by conveyers.
The seed leg moves the grain vertically with the use of cups on a belt. The grain is moved to selected locations through different spouts (shown on the top of the buildings in the right picture.)
Next, we place some of the wheat in bags.
